Space artificial intelligence (AI) comprehensive solutions corporations TelePIX said on the 2nd that it was selected for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Space Accelerator's APJ 2025 program.
AWS Space Accelerator, a business support program for space startups, is a global program that since 2021 has discovered and supported space startups solving complex problems related to the space industry each year. It provides selected corporations with a variety of opportunities, including AWS cloud credits, technical and business mentoring, and consolidation with investor and industry networks.
The APJ 2025 program is run with a focus on promising space startups in the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, India, and Japan. A total of 67 corporations were selected this time, and among Korean corporations, TelePIX is the only one. The company said that innovative satellite data solutions and potential for global expansion played a decisive role in the selection.
TelePIX provides differentiated space and satellite data services centered on analysis of satellite-based Earth observation data, including super-resolution image processing technology, real-time disaster monitoring solutions, and application services in the defense, agriculture, and environment sectors.
Through this program, TelePIX has combined its services with the AWS cloud to establish a faster and more stable data processing infrastructure. Based on AWS's global infrastructure and technical support, it plans to push ahead with a full-fledged entry into the global space market, advancement of core technologies, and expansion of investment and strategic partnerships.
