Dong-A Socio Holdings said it held the Phoenix Super Camp this year for employees' children.
The Phoenix Super Camp is one of the life design support programs for employees of Dong-A Pharmaceutical, Dong-A ST, Dong-A Socio Holdings, and other Dong-A Socio Group companies. The life design support programs are organized around the five basic areas of life—health, family, leisure, finance, and retirement—and provide practical support tailored to each group member's stage of life.
As a flagship family-friendly program, the Phoenix Super Camp was prepared to boost employees' children's confidence and motivation to learn and to build bonds between parents and children.
The Phoenix Super Camp was held at the Dong-A Socio Group Sangju Human Resources Development Center. Employees' elementary school children received training for two nights and three days, and middle school children for three nights and four days.
Under the slogan "the Phoenix Super Camp that leads positive life change through proactive and active participation," the Dong-A Socio Group conducted training focused on three areas: character, study methods, and life skills.
In the character area, the goal was to foster an attitude of taking responsibility for one's choices and actions and to form a mindset for learning, while in the study methods area, students were taught active learning methods that make studying fun and self-driven. In the life skills area, they learned the strength to respect their own choices over others' views and how to express themselves clearly.
With the Phoenix Super Camp, Dong-A Socio Holdings sought to foster inner growth among the group's employees' children and to elevate sharing of learning, challenge, and leadership.
A Dong-A Socio Holdings official said, "The Phoenix Super Camp is a place where children build the strength to believe in themselves and take on challenges," adding, "We expect the children to discover new goals and deepen their relationships with their families."
