Cha Hospital announced on the 18th that it will participate in the creation of an artificial intelligence (AI) bio healthcare complex in Gyeonggi's Gwacheon City, along with Cha Healthcare and Kakao Healthcare. The plan is to provide medical services accessible to all Gwacheon citizens.
Cha Hospital, Cha Healthcare, and Kakao Healthcare have signed a business agreement to establish the 'Gwacheon Makgye District AI Bio Healthcare Complex.' They will create an advanced general hospital and a senior healthcare town.
Cha Hospital will share its clinical research built over 65 years, while Cha Healthcare will provide experience from operating hospitals in the United States, Australia, Singapore, and Japan. They are considering the transfer of Gangnam Cha Hospital. Kakao Healthcare will provide AI and digital health platform technologies.
Yoon Do-heum, the director of Cha Hospital, said, "We will establish ourselves as a hospital tailored for Gwacheon citizens where both children and adults can receive treatment easily and quickly." Hwang Hee, the CEO of Kakao Healthcare, noted, "We will provide ultra-personalized health management based on AI and data."
