GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Korea announced on the 30th that it will appoint Gunnar Riediger as the new General Manager.
The new General Manager, Gunnar Riediger, joined GSK in 2004 through the company's global talent development program 'Future Leaders Program' and has led healthcare operations across Latin America for over 20 years.
Riediger has held key positions, including Head of the Vaccines Business Unit in Brazil, Head of the BioTech Business Unit, and Global Vaccines Market Lead.
Since 2023, he has served as the Country President & General Manager of GSK Colombia, launching vaccine, specialty pharmaceuticals, and oncology product lines locally, and GSK Colombia was recognized as 'the fastest-growing multinational pharmaceutical company in Colombia for 2024.'
Riediger said, "I look forward to leading a new chapter in the growth of GSK Korea by continuously supplying innovative vaccines and pharmaceuticals that improve the quality of life for Korean patients and strengthening collaboration for the development of the domestic biopharmaceutical industry."
