The Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) announced on the 7th that its research institute company Maysin is developing the 'Le P:LAB Physical Calm Spray,' which is sold by P-Lab, and that it will officially sponsor the Republic of Korea national badminton team, including player Ahn Se-young.
Maysin is a research institute company that utilizes patent technology related to Maysin. Maysin is a natural flavonoid extracted from centipede grass used in landscaping, known for its excellent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Currently, KAERI holds 18 patents related to Maysin.
The Le P:LAB Physical Calm Spray is the first product of the Le P:LAB brand under P-Lab. The company stated that this product, which has Maysin as a key ingredient, can provide practical assistance in restoring and maintaining athletes' condition and enhancing performance through temporary improvement of blood circulation and reduction of swelling.
Earlier, on the 5th, a sponsorship agreement ceremony between P-Lab and the Badminton Korea Association was held in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do. The Republic of Korea national badminton team is expected to use the Maysin spray, and the Le P:LAB brand will be promoted through the team uniforms.
Jung Byung-yeop, head of the Advanced Radiation Research Institute at KAERI, who led the Maysin research, said, "It is an honor to be able to assist the world-class Republic of Korea national badminton team with the institute's technology," and noted, "We will continue to strive for the development of irreplaceable radiation technology that can be beneficial in real life."
