Samjin pharm announced on the 26th that it has appointed Kim Sang-jin as president in charge of overall management. This decision is a strategic move to secure growth dynamics and enhance the competitiveness of the corporations through the recruitment of a professional manager.
The new president, Kim Sang-jin, who graduated from Seoul National University School of Pharmacy, joined Korea Janssen in 1991 and has served as president of Hong Kong Janssen in 2006, president of Taiwan Janssen in 2008, and president of Korea Janssen in 2011. He gained experience and expertise throughout the industry, reaching positions such as vice president of HANDOK in 2013 and representative of Samil Pharmaceutical in 2018.
With the addition of President Kim, Samjin pharm expects to maximize management capabilities and secure new growth engines, including the expansion of global operations and the development of new products.
