PharmaResearch announced on the 5th that Jeon Ji-hoon has officially taken office as the new CEO.

CEO Jeon noted during the inauguration ceremony held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province on the 4th, "PharmaResearch has reached a point where it can leap beyond being number one in the domestic market and become a global corporation, based on its unique technological strength and market competitiveness. To achieve this, I will focus on enhancing global competitiveness and expanding the global market and business areas."

CEO Jeon said, "Based on the network and experience I have built in the field, I will strive to ensure that PharmaResearch becomes a more solid corporation," and added, "We will use PharmaResearch's proven innovative technologies and portfolio as our global competitiveness to push forward overseas market entry without any setbacks."

CEO Jeon graduated from Korea University with a degree in economics and completed his MBA at Boston University. He began his career at the headquarters of Bristol-Myers Squibb, a global pharmaceutical company, and has since served as an executive at Dong-A Pharmaceutical's Global Business Division, CEO of Baxter Korea, CEO of Dongwha Pharm, and CEO of HUGEL.

The inauguration ceremony also included the farewell ceremony for former CEOs Kang Gi-seok and Kim Shin-kyu. Former CEO Kang is expected to contribute to the continuous growth of the company as a non-executive advisor. Former CEO Kim will take office as CEO of CTCBIO and focus on prompt business normalization.
