Jin (real name Kim Seok-jin), a member of BTS, donated 100 million won to Korea University Medical Center to help patients with incurable diseases in developing countries.
Korea University Medical Center said on the 23rd, "Jin's donation will be used for the 'Global Kindness Life Love Project,' an international medical support initiative that the medical center is promoting."
This project focuses on treating and supporting patients in developing countries who suffer from economic hardships and lack of medical services, aiming to save lives. Korea University Medical Center successfully treated more than 10 patients with incurable diseases from various countries, including Madagascar, last year, bringing them to Korea for treatment at Korea University Anam, Guro, and Ansan hospitals while practicing sharing.
BTS Jin stated, "I hope this brings even a small hope to those who are suffering and unable to receive treatment in medical blind spots," adding, "I want to participate in helping more lives together with our global fans."
Korea University Medical Center expressed expectations that the Global Kindness Life Love Project will be more actively promoted as a result of this donation. A representative from the medical center noted, "Jin's warm sharing is a great strength for international medical support activities," and expressed gratitude, saying, "His good deeds will contribute to creating a warmer and healthier society."
Korea University Medical Center plans to continuously provide medical support to patients with incurable diseases in developing countries, promote the value of life, and expand international sharing activities.
