Chong Kun Dang Chairman Lee Jang-han noted in his New Year's speech on 2nd, "This year must be a year focused on establishing and executing realistic strategies aimed at maximizing management efficiency."
Chong Kun Dang held its New Year's ceremony at its headquarters in Chungjeongno, Seoul, on this day and officially began its work for the new year. The ceremony was shared with Heo Jong Research Institute and Cheonan Plant through online live streaming.
Lee emphasized, "Resources and capabilities must be concentrated in the core institutional sector, and more innovative changes need to occur in the research and development area." He said, "We need to maximize efficiency based on digital systems, including AI, and secure Chong Kun Dang's unique platform technologies in areas such as synthetic drugs, antibody-drug conjugates (ADC), and cell and gene therapies (CGT)."
Lee continued, "It is an urgent time for developing innovative new drugs that lead the world through the convergence of various modalities such as targeted protein degraders (TPD), degradable antibody conjugates (DAC), and immune ADCs," and urged, "To build global competitiveness, we must consolidate the capabilities of all employees and clearly establish a future roadmap."
