H Plus Yangji Hospital announced on the 26th that it has established a hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam, and will begin full-scale medical services in December.

According to H Plus Yangji Hospital, the newly established H+ International Medical Center Healthcare & Polyclinic (H+ Hanoi) is the first case in which a Korean medical corporation has independently entered the overseas medical market without a local partner. The hospital is located on the 7th and 8th floors of the Lotte Mall Westlake Hanoi building in the Tay Ho District of Hanoi. With a total area of 1,500 square meters per floor, the total size is 3,000 square meters (approximately 1,000 pyeong).

The hospital explained the strengths of H+ Hanoi by integrating domestic medical expertise and the IT technology of Vietnam through medical treatment coordination between Korea and Vietnam. It has boldly introduced international multidisciplinary treatment and implemented a Korea-Vietnam telemedicine system. Telemedicine and consultation are handled by domestic medical professionals, while real-time medical records and health checkup data sharing is managed by Hanoi medical staff, which has also strengthened its competitiveness in AI-based digital healthcare.

Through the establishment of H+ Hanoi, critically ill patients can be transferred to the domestic H Plus Yangji Hospital for surgery and treatment through cooperation between the medical professionals of both countries. For expatriates who have undergone medical examinations in Hanoi, customized post-care services based on the patient medical records and examination data shared between the two hospitals can be provided.

Hospital Director Kim Sang-il noted, "By integrating advanced domestic medical technology with the medical capabilities of Vietnam, we have quickly established a patient-centered medical and cooperative treatment system connecting the two countries." He added, "We will plant health in Hanoi and prescribe trust in Vietnam."
