Chosun Hotel & Resort said on the 11th that it received Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
ISMS is a domestic information security certification system that comprehensively assesses whether corporations have systematically established and operate management systems and technical and administrative safeguards for information protection.
The certification covers the independent brand hotels of Chosun Hotel & Resort, including "Grand Josun Busan" and "Grand Josun Jeju," as well as dining restaurants "Homuran," "Mott 32 Seoul," "Ho Kyung Jeon," and "Jaju Table."
Golf courses "Jayuu CC" and "Trinity Club," and leisure facilities "Aqua Field," "Concord," and "TGX" were also included in the certification scope.
The official online mall operated by Chosun Hotel & Resort, "Chosun Taste & Style," also received the certification. The company said that through this, it verified the customer information protection system and information security management capabilities of major business sites, including the online mall.
Chosun Hotel & Resort received ISMS certification on Aug. 19. This ISMS certification is valid for three years, until Aug. 18, 2029.
A Chosun Hotel & Resort official said, "With this ISMS certification, we have been formally recognized for our management and operation system to protect customer information," and added, "We will continue to advance our information security management system to create an environment where customers can use our services with peace of mind."
