Global Sae-A's holding company Global Sae-A has hired Kim Min-kyu as the new head of the management strategy office (president).
On the 7th, industry sources said Kim will oversee Global Sae-A's mid- to long-term management strategy, responses to key management issues, and internal and external risk management. Kim will also be responsible for detailing the group's future growth direction and strengthening strategic links among affiliates.
Kim previously served as executive vice president overseeing management support at Shinsegae Group and as senior vice president in charge of strategic support at CJ Group. At major conglomerates, Kim handled strategy and management support, gaining experience across personnel, audit, legal affairs, public relations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and internal and external risk management. Most recently, Kim served as vice president at Semyung University.
Global Sae-A said it plans to use this hire to strengthen the group's strategic function centered on the holding company.
