GS Retail(007070) said on the 4th that it will conduct open recruitment for new employees for the second half of 2026 in major business divisions, including convenience stores, supermarkets, and home shopping.
The positions to be hired are GS25 convenience store sales management, GS The Fresh supermarket store sales, and GS Shop MD, PD, and marketing roles. Each business plans to select new employees in double-digit numbers.
Applications will be accepted from the 7th to 12 p.m. on the 21st through the GS Retail recruitment website. The process will proceed in the order of document screening, AI competency test, first-round interview with working-level staff, and second-round interview with executives.
Applicants for GS25 and GS The Fresh who pass the first interview will undergo a four-week internship linked to hiring. During the internship, they will receive job training, experience actual work in the field, and be assessed for job fit and practical capabilities. GS Shop will select new employees through interviews without an internship.
After joining the company, employees will build their careers focusing on the field and roles of each business. New GS25 employees will handle store operations and communication with franchise owners and will be developed into OFCs (sales management experts). At GS The Fresh, they will build store operation and leadership capabilities to grow into store operation experts.
Those who join GS Shop will take on MD, PD, and marketing tasks to build the expertise needed for the commerce business. Later, depending on individual capabilities and experience, they can expand their scope of work to various roles within the home shopping business.
