Hyundai Department Store(069960)Group fashion company Handsome will open a "System Paris" pop-up store at Harrods in London, England. It follows the opening of a permanent store at Galeries Lafayette in France earlier this year and marks a move to expand its global distribution network.
Handsome said on the 3rd that from the 7th of this month (local time) through November, it will operate the System Paris pop-up store in the men's second-floor "Contemporary Collection" zoning at Harrods. Opened in 1849, Harrods is the world's No. 1 department store by sales for a single location and is a representative luxury department store that has supplied goods to the British royal family.
The pop-up came together at the suggestion of Harrods. Since the fall-winter season last year, Harrods' own select shop has been selling System Paris products, and some items such as coats and pants sold out, leading to the operation of a separate store, according to Handsome.
The pop-up will showcase 64 items, including apparel, bags, and shoes, out of more than 300 new products. Aimed at European consumer tastes, the products apply bold materials and designs and were unveiled at the 2026 fall-winter Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. On the 12th, it will hold a collaboration event with the Korean tea cafe "Look Left" in London, and in November it will run a gift promotion inspired by hanbok colors and norigae.
Handsome is the only Korean fashion company to participate in Paris Fashion Week every year since 2019. It operates a System flagship store in the Marais district of Paris and a permanent store at Galeries Lafayette. The Lafayette store has entered the top three in sales in the contemporary category.
