Pulmuone said on the 23rd it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Gangnam-gu single-person household community center to run a "customized sustainable eating class for single-person households" at the Pulmuone headquarters in Suseo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Attending the signing were Kim Gi-yeon, head of the Gangnam-gu single-person household community center, and Yoon Myeong-rang, head of Pulmuone Foods' headquarters, along with officials from both sides.
Through the agreement, the two sides agreed to work together to support healthy eating for single-person households and to spread the value of sustainable eating in daily life.
Under the agreement, Pulmuone Foods will be responsible for: ▲ providing the "Tasty Pulmuone" education space to promote sustainable eating ▲ planning and running customized classes tailored to the characteristics of single-person households ▲ sponsoring products for nutritional balance and improved eating habits ▲ providing professional instructors and educational content.
The Gangnam-gu single-person household community center will handle: ▲ overseeing recruitment and selection of participants ▲ promotional support using its own channels such as the center's publications, the official website, and social media ▲ building networks among participants and follow-up management. The two organizations will also cooperate on publicity and marketing to expand the agreement's outcomes through external and global channels.
The first program, the "sustainable eating know-how customized for single-person households" class, will run for two days from the 15th of next month at "Tasty Pulmuone."
Yoon Myeong-rang, head of Pulmuone Foods' headquarters, said, "The number of single-person households continues to grow, but opportunities to learn how to eat healthily and sustainably on one's own are still scarce," adding, "Based on Tasty Pulmuone's educational infrastructure and expertise, we will continue to share sustainable eating know-how that single-person households can put into practice right away in daily life."
In April, Pulmuone opened the sustainable eating culinary school "Tasty Pulmuone" on the third floor of Pulmuone's Suseo headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to spread sustainable eating. It is an experience-based platform grounded in culinary education that helps consumers experience sustainable eating and put it into practice in daily life.
