OTOKI said on the 21st that it provided emergency relief supplies to help residents in Geoje, South Gyeongsang, who were hit by torrential rain.
OTOKI delivered a total of about 1,000 relief items, including cup ramen and cup rice, to the Geoje City Indoor Gymnasium. The items will be used to support meals for people displaced by the recent torrential rain, rescue workers engaged in operations, and volunteers.
OTOKI has continued support to help stabilize the lives of residents in disaster-hit areas and to aid recovery. In Mar. last year, it provided more than 10,000 items, including cup ramen and cup rice, to Uiseong, North Gyeongsang, and Sancheong, South Gyeongsang, which suffered major wildfire damage. In Jul. of the same year, it delivered more than 40,000 relief items to flood-hit areas including Sancheong, Gapyeong, Gwangju, and Dangjin.
An OTOKI official said, "We extend our deepest condolences to residents in the Geoje area who were affected by the record downpour," and added, "We hope this support will help, even a little, and that recovery will be completed as soon as possible."
