d'Alba Global(483650) said on the 13th that, based on preliminary figures, second-quarter results came to 186.9 billion won in revenue and 47.2 billion won in operating profit. Compared with a year earlier, revenue rose 46% and operating profit increased 62%. Net profit climbed 92% to 38 billion won.
Growth in overseas business drove the stronger results. Second-quarter overseas revenue was 141.5 billion won, up 74% from the same period last year. The share of overseas sales in total revenue also rose to 76%, marking a record high on a quarterly basis.
North American revenue jumped 174% from a year earlier. Online, multiple products ranked high in category sales, led by Amazon. By channel, U.S. TikTok Shop revenue rose 258%, U.S. Amazon 96%, and Canada Amazon 252%. Offline, store placements expanded, and business-to-business (B2B) purchase orders increased.
European revenue surged 242% from the second quarter of last year. Online channels such as Amazon and TikTok Shop led the growth, and key products including the multi balm, mist, and tone-up sunscreen ranked among the top sellers on Amazon in major European countries.
In Greater China, sales also expanded, centered on major e-commerce channels. Tmall revenue increased 90% year over year, and Douyin rose 156%. The offline distribution network continued to expand as well, with the number of stores carrying the products reaching 883 as of the end of the second quarter this year.
