As consumer interest in protein has recently risen, Dongwon F&B will expand by about 20% the range of gift sets made up of Dongwon Tuna, which contains marine protein.
Yangban Gim, marking its 40th anniversary since launch, prepared seaweed gift sets made with carefully selected raw seaweed. It will expand with various lineups, including premium products such as gopchang dolgim, gamtae, and maesaengi, as well as canned seaweed, which is popular as a gift.
It also released gift sets that reflect food lifestyle trends. It introduced a Spanish direct-import avocado oil gift set for consumers seeking healthy ingredients and gift sets that include allulose in line with high interest in low sugar.
It also newly planned the "Dongwon Tuna Line Friends Edition," which packs Dongwon Tuna in boxes featuring characters from IPX's global character brand LINE FRIENDS.
It also plans to present the "BTS Jin Super Tuna gift set" this Chuseok with Jin, the brand model for Dongwon Tuna. This product, composed of tuna cans featuring photos of Jin, sold more than 40,000 sets during last Chuseok and Seollal.
It will also continue to offer eco-friendly gift sets made from sustainable materials. Representative is the All Paper Package gift set made of 100% paper, and it also released the "All-Recycled Package," which combines boxes made by recycling aseptic packs with fabric bags made from recycled waste plastic.
