Hyundai LIVART(079430) disclosed on the 4th that its preliminary operating profit on a consolidation basis for the second quarter was 5.559 billion won, up 9.4% from the same period a year earlier (5.08 billion won).
Revenue for the same period was 373.133 billion won, down 9% from the same period a year earlier (409.871 billion won). Net income was 3.754 billion won, up 507.4% from last year (618 million won).
A Hyundai LIVART official said, "As the construction market slump continues, the supply volume of built-in furniture has decreased, reducing revenue," and added, "Through efficient management, operating profit increased slightly from a year earlier." The official went on to say, "We plan to actively pursue new dwellings maintenance projects and B2B new project orders to expand revenue going forward."
