E-MART(139480) said on the 28th it will hold the "Goraeit Festa," offering up to 50% off summer in-season fresh foods and summer goods for four days from the 30th through Aug. 2.
Online mall SSG.com and E-MART Everyday will also run the Goraeit Festa at the same prices as offline stores.
The featured product is "Jeju fresh silver hairtail." With Shinsegae Point savings, it will sell for 2,990 won per fish after up to 50% off. It is the lowest price among hairtail prices E-MART has offered this year. E-MART said, "Caught by jigging and longline methods, the silvery sheen is vivid, and it is trimmed right after pre-dawn operations to enhance freshness." Bluefin tuna sashimi (240g), including special cuts such as kama and belly button meat, will be offered at 24,800 won, while Wando abalone and Yeonggwang white dried croaker will be 50% off, and Norwegian mackerel fillets 40% off.
In produce, the "Farmers Pick mountain watermelon" harvested in highlands and the "watermelon with few seeds for easy eating" will be half off with Shinsegae Point savings. Summer fruits such as peaches, Campbell grapes, and tangerines, as well as items like paprika, corn, and chestnut sweet potatoes, are also included in the discounts.
Meat will also see steep discounts. "Tantan Pork samgyeopsal and shoulder" will be 50% off with an event card payment, and all items of branded premium Korean beef, known as hanwoo such as "Gyeongju Cheonnyeon Hanwoo" and "Gyeolgoun Sun Amsso," will be 40% off. U.S. Prime chuck eye roll and a half-and-half pack of premium Korean beef, known as hanwoo brisket point and thin-sliced beef belly will be up to 50% off with Shinsegae Point savings.
It also introduced products targeting vacation-season demand. Suncare products, mosquito repellent, and children's swim diapers will be 50% off when buying two or more, and swim rings will be discounted up to 80% with an event card payment. For customers who pre-order the Samsung Electronics "Galaxy Z8 series," benefits include up to a 100,000 won additional discount with an event card payment, interest-free installments, and up to 80,000 won in Naver Pay points.
