MAMMOTH COFFEE said on the 28th that it will adjust prices for some Americano menu items starting on the 11th of next month.
Accordingly, the price of an iced Americano small (S) will rise 16.7% from 1,200 won to 1,400 won. The medium (M) size will increase 12.5% from 1,600 won to 1,800 won.
Iced decaf Americano will also go up, with the small size rising 10.5% from 1,900 won to 2,100 won, and the medium size rising 8.7% from 2,300 won to 2,500 won.

A MAMMOTH COFFEE official said, "Despite rising costs for raw and subsidiary materials, we have internally absorbed the factors for increase to minimize the burden on customers," and added, "With recent global instability and continued increases in related expense, we inevitably decided to adjust prices."
Along with the price increase, MAMMOTH COFFEE will also revamp the Americano ordering screen on its kiosks. Previously, customers selected Americano and then chose hot or iced, but going forward, iced Americano and hot Americano will be offered as separate menu items.
The existing "extra shot Americano" menu will be discontinued. Customers who want an extra shot must select Americano and then choose "add shot" in the additional options.
Amid rising prices of coffee beans and raw and subsidiary materials, some coffee franchise chains have been raising prices on certain products.
MEGA MGC COFFEE raised prices by 200 won each for three "Halmega Coffee" products on the 19th of last month. The Venti also increased prices for major menu items, excluding Americano, by 100 to 500 won starting May 29.
Earlier, in March, Banapresso and Bruda Coffee raised prices on some items, including decaf and cold brew.
