With an unprecedented hot and humid summer forecast, demand is growing for managing odors in laundry, bathrooms, and other summer trouble spots.
On the 23rd, Korea P&G, a global household goods company, said summer odor-control products can be an alternative and recommended Febreze clip-on for bathrooms. Febreze clip-on for bathrooms does not mask odors in the bathroom but fundamentally eliminates their sources. It can tackle the three major bathroom odors—drain odors, musty water smells, and toilet odors—at once. After pressing the button to activate it, simply place it where needed and it remains effective for up to 60 days.
There are six types in total. In addition to Fresh Forest, known for its woodland scent, the zesty Citrus and the classic scent Downy APRIL have been newly added. The previously sold cool Fresh Sky, the lavender-scented Lavender Bouquet, and the powdery Downy Clean Cotton are still being distributed.
Laundry is also a main cause of odor concerns in summer. P&G said Downy indoor-drying fabric softener can tackle laundry odors. It comes in three varieties: the recently launched Cotton & Fresh Soap, Fresh Clean, and Floral Blossom.
A Korea P&G official said, "With record heat and high humidity forecast and more time being spent at home, consumers' everyday odor concerns are likely to grow," and added, "Recently, interest has been rising in products that manage the sources of odors while enhancing comfort with preferred fragrances, so we expect a positive consumer response."
