Hyundai Department Store said on the 14th it will hold a "global furniture fair" at its Trade Center store through the 21st, introducing products from famous furniture brands around the world.
Nineteen premium furniture brands from seven countries, including Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland and Finland, will take part in the event.
U.S. furniture brand Steelcase will offer chair products at up to 20% off the original list price to mark the event and will unveil new colors of its main products, the "Leap" chair and the "Gesture" chair, for the first time in Korea.
Italian furniture company Porro will also sell at up to 20% off the original list price.
At the main event hall on basement level 1, products from domestic furniture brands such as "Movement Lab," "Villa Record," "Woodique" and "Sso Lab" will also be introduced.
A Hyundai Department Store official said, "We organized this event so customers can compare and experience overseas premium furniture brands in one place."
Meanwhile, Hyundai Department Store has recently been strengthening its living category. On the last month, the Mokdong store renovated its living hall. It newly introduced a sleep care space called the "sleep fitting room" and expanded premium living brands such as "Fritz Hansen," "Stay H" and "&Tradition."
