Nol Universe Co said on the 12th that it will unify lodging, flights, tours, leisure, and ticket services that had been dispersed across its subsidiary platforms into NOL and accelerate its shift to an artificial intelligence (AI)-based travel agency. The idea is to let users move seamlessly through the process from searching and preparing for travel and leisure to execution on a single platform. The company plans to use this to enhance customer convenience and, based on synergies across categories, offer competitive prices and benefits.
NOL is an integrated travel and leisure platform operated by Nol Universe Co, launched in March last year when the former Yanolja platform was revamped. At the time, Nol Universe Co changed the platform names as follows: the Yanolja platform to "NOL," Interpark Ticket to "NOL Ticket," and Interpark Tour to "NOL Interpark Tour."
The integration will proceed in stages. First, in September, NOL Interpark Tour and NOL Ticket will be combined into NOL. After that, Triple will also be consolidated sequentially, accelerating the implementation of an AI travel agency that connects the entire customer journey.
Each service can be used as usual until the integration. After the integration, existing reservations will continue to be viewable on NOL. The paid membership "Topping" of NOL Ticket, which has been popular mainly among performance enthusiasts, will also carry over to NOL as is, allowing existing customers to receive the same benefits.
Nol Universe Co also presented a vision to use this integration as a springboard to leap into a global AI travel agency. By focusing corporations' capabilities on NOL, the company aims to strengthen its position in the domestic market and provide a differentiated customer experience that can succeed globally, growing into a K-travel, leisure, and culture platform.
A customer appreciation promotion will also be held to mark the start of the integration. Nol Universe Co will run a nine-week promotion from the 15th to Aug. 17, allowing existing NOL Interpark Tour and NOL Ticket members to use discounted overseas and domestic travel and ticket special deals on NOL with discounts and coupons.
