Burger King said on the 4th it will relaunch the Long Chicken Burger, a menu item discontinued in Jul. last year. The decision reflects customer requests for its return.
The products being relaunched are two items: the Long Chicken Burger and the Bulgogi Long Chicken Burger. The Long Chicken Burger features an elongated chicken patty with fresh lettuce and rich mayonnaise. The Bulgogi Long Chicken Burger adds a sweet bulgogi sauce for extra savoriness.
According to Burger King, after the Long Chicken Burger was discontinued, customer demands for its return poured in on the official website and social media (SNS). In response, Burger King said it decided to sell the product for a limited time.
With this relaunch of the Long Chicken Burger, Burger King will also expand its All Day King menu to a total of eight items. It will also introduce a new sauce, Big Dip Cheddar Cheese, reflecting the "dip-and-eat" trend. When purchased with the Long Chicken Burger, this sauce will be offered at a 40% discount off the regular price.
Meanwhile, in Feb., Burger King raised prices for some products. The flagship Whopper increased from 7,200 won to 7,400 won, and the Whopper Junior rose from 4,800 won to 5,000 won.
