Hanssem, a comprehensive home interior corporations, has rolled out a series of furniture with enhanced quality and safety in line with the trend prioritizing functionality.
On the 27th, Hanssem said it configured the "Swiv Swing" sofa in four versions by material. The Swiv Swing sofa allows users to adjust the seating area by moving the backrest forward and backward. It serves as a sofa for sitting upright and talking in everyday use, and pushing the backrest backward lets users use it as widely as a bed. However, because the backrest is operated more frequently than on ordinary sofas and there is more body friction, the leather's abrasion resistance and the hardware's durability are cited as key factors in product selection.
Hanssem said it introduced a rigorous verification process for the Swiv Swing sofa series. The swing hardware, a core component, underwent more than 20,000 operation tests. The leather also passed more than 500 abrasion-resistance tests.
The four Swiv Swing sofas are: the top-tier "Swiv The Master," which uses Italian natural bull leather; "Swiv Leather," which applies natural top-grain leather; "Swiv Ecocrea," made with functional fabric; and "Swiv Cremo," made with a fabric material with a moist touch.
The premium Swiv The Master uses 1.6–1.8 mm bull leather from Italy's Pelle Milano. It features an all-leather finish with 100% leather even in less visible areas like the back of the backrest. The filling combines 45 kg/m³ ultra-high-density sponge and memory foam to reduce sagging even after long periods of sitting.
Among the products emphasizing functionality, a product that can be used in dining spaces is the "Live-up Motion Table." With the push of a button, the table height can be adjusted from 49 cm to 91 cm. It can be used as a study table for children during the day and as a family dining table or a standing workspace for parents in the evening.
Safety features were also emphasized. The tabletop uses 12T full-ceramic with a porcelain grade. It underwent harmful substance safety tests and surface hardness tests, and it is easy to maintain even against doodles or food stains. As it has an electric height-adjustment function, the hardware is equipped with dual motors. It passed a 180 kg vertical load test and 20,000 operation tests under a 100 kg load condition. It also underwent temperature tests from minus 25 degrees to 70 degrees Celsius.
Electrical components completed KC certification. A rollback function that stops and reverses immediately if an impact is applied to the tabletop or an obstacle is detected, and a kids lock function, were also added. The product is designed to be safe for households with children.
