NOL, operated by Nol Universe Co, said on the 22nd it will join the "2026 performing arts admission support program," hosted and organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Arts Management Service (KAMS), and Arts Council Korea (ARKO).
The 2026 performing arts admission support program was promoted by the government to boost performance consumption and support the recovery of the performing arts market. It allows audience members to use a 10,000-won discount coupon when booking performances such as plays, musicals, classical music, Korean traditional music, and dance through designated ticketing platforms. The aim is to lower the burden of ticket purchases for audiences while drawing more visits to performance venues.
NOL will offer 10,000-won discount coupons for performance admission on a first-come, first-served basis at 10 a.m. every Friday through Aug. 20. Each person can receive up to two.
Eligible genres include a wide range of performances such as plays, musicals, Western music (classical), Korean music (gugak), dance, and magic/circus. The issued coupons can be combined with other benefits such as credit card discounts, broadening the effective discount felt by audiences.
Nol Universe Co is also continuing support activities for the growth of the culture and arts industry. Last year, through NOL Ticket, it took part in the program supporting admission fees for performing arts and art exhibitions, and to help the sustainable growth of the domestic performance industry, it has been hosting the "Nollaŭn Hyegong Awards," an awards ceremony for small-theater musicals, for the third year.
It has also made investments in offline spaces to revitalize the Daehangno cultural scene. Nol Universe Co officially opened "NOL Theater Daehangno" in February, contributing to expanding performance-viewing experiences and to cultural regeneration in Daehangno.
Baek Sae-mi, head of entertainment business at Nol Universe Co, said, "We decided to participate in the 2026 performing arts admission support program to help invigorate the performance industry," adding, "Nol Universe Co plans to continue providing various forms of support so the culture and arts sector can grow in the future."
