Lotteria, a burger franchise operated by Lotte GRS, said on the 6th that it will hold the "My own Lotteria" UTme! design contest in partnership with global fashion brand Uniqlo through the 12th.
Lotteria said the contest was planned to provide participatory content on Uniqlo's customization service "UTme!," allowing customers to add designs that reinterpret the Lotteria brand identity themselves.
The contest's theme will proceed in two sections: "UNIQUE" and "FUN." Participants can choose between a design full of individuality (UNIQUE) or a design (FUN) that showcases creativity by using Lotteria's product images.
The total prize pool is 1.5 million won, and entries are accepted through the 12th. The first-round winners (20 people) will be announced on the 18th, and the final winners will be determined on the 26th through voting. The final winner in each theme will receive a 500,000-won Lotte Department Store gift certificate, and their own design will be released as a real Uniqlo "UTme!" collaboration stamp.
A Lotte GRS official said, "This collaboration reflects the 'Meaning-out' trend, which goes beyond simple consumption to express one's individuality," and added, "We hope you will fully showcase your individuality and creativity with various designs using Lotteria's familiar items."
