Korea McDonald's said on the 6th that actor Son Ho-jun, selected as an ambassador for the "2026 McDonald's Happy Walk," donated 10 million won for children with serious illnesses and their families.
Happy Walk is a large-scale outdoor charity walk that Korea McDonald's has held annually since 2024. All participation fees and donations from participants are delivered to Ronald McDonald House Charities Korea (RMHC Korea).
This year, it will be held on the 24th at the east gate plaza of Incheon Munhak Stadium and around the main stadium. An expanded 6,000 people will take part compared with last year. Actor Son Ho-jun will also join on the day of the event and walk the 3-kilometer course.
Korea McDonald's plans to deliver Son Ho-jun's 10 million won donation and all Happy Walk participation fees to RMHC Korea. The donation will be used for projects supporting children with serious illnesses and their families, including the first Ronald McDonald House to be built in the Seoul metropolitan area that RMHC Korea is pursuing.
A Korea McDonald's official said, "We are grateful for the warm sharing by actor Son Ho-jun, who joined as a Happy Walk ambassador," and added, "We hope this donation will be a small encouragement to children with serious illnesses and their families."
