KHEE Korea's "KHEE Soju" 38% won the grand prize in the distilled soju category at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
On the 6th, KHEE Korea said KHEE Soju 38% is made without artificial additives, using 100% rice and natural bedrock water drawn from 150 meters underground. After a proprietary fermentation process, it is vacuum-distilled and then naturally aged for 180 days in traditional earthenware jars.
Despite its high proof, it harmonizes rich rice aroma with minerality and a smooth texture. It is good neat or on the rocks, and also works well as a cocktail base.
Eva Chow, CEO of KHEE Korea, created KHEE Soju to share with the world the Korean culture she always missed while working in the United States. While using Korea's traditional brewing methods, the company said it sought to capture the depth and elegance of Korean traditional liquor by incorporating modern technology.
KHEE combines "Hee," the Korean name of Chow, with the initial "K" of her middle name. It also carries the meaning of "gi (energy)."
