Dongwon F&B said on the 4th that it released a 13-liter (L) large-capacity PET bottled water, Dongwon Saemmul MEGA.
Dongwon Saemmul MEGA is a large-capacity bottled water product with a capacity of 13 L. The amount of plastic used per liter is 15.8 g, the lowest among existing PET bottled water products. It appears to focus on an eco-friendly product that reduces resource use and lowers environmental impact.
Unlike existing PET bottled water products, it uses box packaging, allowing hygienic use without concern for external contamination, and it can be conveniently delivered anywhere, including homes and offices, via contactless courier. It is the first in the bottled water industry to be usable with both cold and hot water dispensers.
In particular, Dongwon F&B noted that it will reduce the hassle of using multiple small PET bottles during outdoor activities such as camping. It can also be used with the cold and hot water dispensers already in use at homes and offices without replacing equipment.
Dongwon F&B, which recently introduced state-of-the-art facilities in Eumseong County, North Chungcheong, is producing bottled water with strict priority on quality control and hygiene. It provides bottled water rich in natural minerals by applying a 10-step quality control system across the entire process, from water intake to bottle formation, filtration, and packaging.
A Dongwon F&B official said, "Dongwon Saemmul MEGA is a large-capacity bottled water product designed with hygiene, convenience, and eco-friendliness all in mind," adding, "We will continue to present Dongwon Saemmul that is loved by customers through ongoing quality control and innovation."
