WINE2U Korea said on the 30th that it received the grand prize in the wine category at the "2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards" with a total of seven brand products.
The award-winning products are: ◇ Rombauer Chardonnay ◇ McManis Petite Sirah ◇ McManis Viognier ◇ 1881 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon ◇ Mounts Cabernet Sauvignon ◇ Maldonado Farm Worker Chardonnay ◇ McManis Chardonnay.
"Rombauer Chardonnay" and "Maldonado Farm Worker Chardonnay" won the grand prize in the New World white wine (60,000 won to under 100,000 won) category. They won for five and two consecutive years, respectively. Rombauer Chardonnay, with rich aromas of peach, apricot, and melon, a creamy texture, vanilla and buttery nuances, and lively acidity in harmony, is the top-selling wine among premium Chardonnays in the United States. "McManis Viognier" and "McManis Chardonnay" (New World white wine under 30,000 won) also received the grand prize.
In the New World red wine (under 30,000 won) category, "McManis Petite Sirah" took the grand prize for the fourth consecutive year, while "1881 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon" and "Mounts Cabernet Sauvignon" (both New World red wine 60,000 won to under 100,000 won category) won for the third and second consecutive years, respectively.
A WINE2U Korea official said, "We have participated in the Korea Wine & Spirits Awards several times, but this is the first year we achieved the feat of winning the grand prize for five consecutive years," adding, "With this award, we plan to continue presenting a diverse and top-tier wine portfolio to domestic consumers."
