Wine importer Les Vins said on the 29th that 14 wines it entered in major institutional sectors including red, white, and sparkling at the "2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards" each won the top prize in their institutional sector, making it a 14-crown sweep.
Marking its 13th year, the Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is Korea's representative alcoholic beverage competition. With the goal of "discovering good domestic drinks and promoting them widely, and supporting the formation of a sound drinking culture," ChosunBiz has hosted it every year since 2014.
This year's event saw 260 companies enter a total of 1,118 brands. It is the largest among domestic competitions that cover all alcoholic beverages. Of these, 449 brands won the top prize.
Fourteen wines were selected as top prize winners: ▲ Pago Ayles Senda de Lenadores (red wine Old World 30,000 won to under 60,000 won) ▲ Calle Finca Bancales (red wine Old World 60,000 won to under 100,000 won) ▲ Muga-Prado Enea Gran Reserva (red wine Old World 100,000 won and above) ▲ Umani Ronchi Cumaro (red wine Old World 100,000 won and above) ▲ Yali Wild Swan Cabernet Sauvignon (red wine New World under 30,000 won) ▲ Adelsheim Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (red wine New World 100,000 won and above) ▲ Clos Du Val Cabernet Sauvignon (red wine New World 100,000 won and above) ▲ Bodegas Muriel Pazo Cilleiro Albariño (white wine Old World 30,000 won to under 60,000 won) ▲ Umani Ronchi Casal di Serra (white wine Old World 60,000 won to under 100,000 won) ▲ Yali Gran Reserva Chardonnay (white wine New World 30,000 won to under 60,000 won) ▲ Farrellycher-Chardonnay (white wine New World 60,000 won to under 100,000 won) ▲ Adelsheim-Willamette Valley Chardonnay (white wine New World 100,000 won and above) ▲ Porta 6 Sparkling Brut (sparkling wine under 50,000 won) ▲ Gancia Extra (sparkling wine 100,000 won and above) were among those named top prize winners.
Among them, five-time top prize winners are Yali Wild Swan Cabernet Sauvignon and Bodegas Muriel Pazo Cilleiro Albariño. Wines that have won three times are ▲ Umani Ronchi Cumaro ▲ Calle Finca Bancales ▲ Yali Gran Reserva Chardonnay ▲ Umani Ronchi Casal di Serra.
