11Street will hold its biggest shopping event of the first half, "Grand 11 Day," for 11 days from May 6 to 16.
Grand 11 Day is 11Street's flagship large-scale promotion. Since last year, it has been held twice a year in May and November. The May event last year drew about 22 million visitors and recorded 19 million cumulative views for live broadcasts.
Ahead of the event, 11Street will run an early-bird promotion through May 5. It will double the number of "pre-order" items that offer discounts through advance reservations compared with last year and roll out special-price items in collaboration with major brands.
For the pre-event promotion, it will collaborate with Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Dreame, Philips, De'Longhi, Braun and others to sell more than 170 items in limited quantities at the lowest online prices.
Representative items include an LG portable air conditioner (699,000 won), the Dreame Aqua 10 Ultra robot vacuum (990,000 won), and the Dragon Diffusion Santa Croce Small Black (in the 300,000-won range).
It will also run "today's issue item," a relay of special deals with nine popular brands and new releases. On May 1, it will hold the first open-market sales for the global fashion brand Superdry, and on the 5th, for Children's Day, it plans to sell a kids' phone based on the Samsung Electronics Galaxy A17 at a special price.
There will also be a coupon giveaway event for discount coupons usable during the event period. During the pre-promotion period, 11Street customers can enter four times a day to receive a 10,000-won cart discount coupon (for purchases of 30,000 won or more).
To expand the lineup of special-price items, 11Street is also recruiting participating sellers through May 3. Participating sellers will receive benefits such as dedicated coupon issuance, enhanced search exposure, and advertising support.
