Ishinzuro Korea Co. said on the 22nd that the baijiu "Daqingguanyang Yopumju" won the grand prize in the baijiu category (under 50,000 won) at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards. It is the second consecutive year it has won.
Daqingguanyang Yopumju is a premium baijiu made with handcrafted fermentation using traditional nuruk and long-term aging. It is characterized by rich aroma and flavor and a smooth finish.
In particular, it is known as a product that follows the lineage of liquor supplied to the Qing imperial court in the past, and it seeks differentiation by combining traditional production methods with historicity.
An Ishinzuro Korea official said, "At a time when domestic consumer perceptions of baijiu are changing, winning for two consecutive years is a meaningful achievement," and added, "We will continue to expand in the domestic market based on quality competitiveness."
