Nol Universe Co said on the 22nd that it will run various promotions to reduce the burden of overseas travel following a rise in fuel surcharges.
Through Apr. 30, Nol Universe Co will offer, on a first-come, first-served basis, 5% discount coupons applicable to airfare to Japan, China, Vietnam and Thailand every day at 10 a.m. It also prepared an additional instant discount of 10,000 won for all routes to Japan and China. Customers booking overseas accommodations will also receive a 7% discount.
At 11 a.m. on the 27th, it will also hold a special Asiana Airlines fare broadcast through its in-house live commerce channel "NOL Live." During the one-hour broadcast, it will offer special fares and plans to provide additional discount coupons of up to 30,000 won for viewers.
NOL Interpark Tour will issue, on a first-come, first-served basis, 10,000 won discount coupons twice daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for all international routes. In addition, customers paying with major credit cards will receive up to an extra 10% discount by route. It also compiled separate lists of special fares by region, including Japan, China and Southeast Asia, to broaden choices.
Park Jeong-hyeon, head of the airline business division at Nol Universe Co, said, "Considering that more customers are hesitating to travel abroad due to the recent increase in fuel surcharges, we have prepared comprehensive price support measures," adding, "We plan to continue reducing customers' travel burdens and supporting rational choices based on various price benefits and product competitiveness."
