Keumyang International said on the 21st that five flagship wines won grand prizes in each category at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
First, the Spanish wine "Mas La Plana (MAS LA PLANA)" won the grand prize in the Old World red wine category. Mas La Plana is known as the "legend of Spanish Cabernet Sauvignon" that beat France's five great chateaux. "Allegrini Palazzo della Torre" from Italy's representative Amarone winery Allegrini also won the grand prize in the Old World red wine category.
"Penfolds BIN 389 (Penfolds BIN 389)" from Australia's leading Penfolds winery won the grand prize in the New World red wine category. As the second wine of Australia's flagship "Grange (Grange)," it boasts excellent balance and structure. Kumyang's flagship wine "Sideral," which enjoys broad popularity for Chile's outstanding value and quality, also won the grand prize in the New World red wine category.
In the New World white wine category, "Rapaura Springs Bull Paddock Sauvignon Blanc," which won the grand prize, is also a strategic item that Kumyang is pushing as a core focus in the rapidly growing white wine market.
