Lotte Shopping's e-commerce platform LOTTE ON said on the 20th that it will sell three products in the artificial intelligence (AI) wearable robot Hypershell lineup. Hypershell is a product that assists lower-body strength during walking and stair movement, and service robot leader VD Robotics officially launched it in the Korea market.
To mark the launch of the three Hypershell products, LOTTE ON plans to run a promotion through the 26th. During this period, customers who purchase any of the three Hypershell models will receive a complimentary "charging station" worth 99,000 won.
The previous day, LOTTE ON employees took part in the Lotte World Tower vertical marathon "SKY Run." Wearing Hypershell, they climbed the stairs from the 1st floor to the 123rd floor and finished. According to LOTTE ON, Hypershell not only disperses load during walking to reduce muscle strain but also provides stable assistance during stair movement.
LOTTE ON plans to continue introducing a variety of robot products to strengthen a differentiated shopping experience. Cho Hana, head of LOTTE ON's digital appliances team, said, "We will continue to add robot products that can help in daily life to bolster our premium tech lineup."
