Wolryubong, the flagship wine of Eau de Lune Winery in Yeongdong, North Chungcheong, won the grand prize in the Korean wine category at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards on the 20th. This marks its third consecutive win.
Eau de Lune Winery is a family business that has continued for three generations since 1974. Top-quality grapes grown by father Park Samsu, recognized as a "master of grapes," began to shine when they met the delicate winemaking of son Park Cheonmyeong, the third-generation owner and a "master of wine." Wolryubong was created in response to consumers who said, "Please make a wine that best suits Korean palates while possessing global sophistication."
In 2005, it received the Minister's Award from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and in 2006, it was awarded "Yeongdong Grape King." It also received the Yeongdong County Citizens' Award in 2010.
