Amquest Agricultural Corporation Co., Ltd. (hereafter Amquest) said on the 21st that its premium gin, TOMORA GIN, won the grand prize in the distilled spirits (40% ABV and above) category at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
TOMORA GIN is a premium distilled spirit based on a base spirit directly distilled using 100% Jeju mandarin concentrate. It is distinguished by being completed through an in-house process from raw ingredients to distillation without using neutral spirits.
Amquest said it added precise blending techniques to deliver the mandarin's distinctive fresh aroma and balanced flavor, earning recognition for its differentiated quality.
Amquest is a distillery based in Seogwipo, Jeju, and has built a premium spirits lineup centered on mandarin-based distilled liquors.
An Amquest official said, "We sought to raise product completeness with an uncompromising approach from raw ingredients to production," and added, "We will continue to introduce premium alcoholic beverages that embody the value of Jeju ingredients."
