Amquest Agricultural Corporation (Amquest) said on the 20th that its premium gin "TOMORA GIN" won the top prize in the distilled spirits category (40% ABV and above) at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
TOMORA GIN is a premium distilled spirit based on a base spirit distilled in-house using 100% Jeju mandarin concentrate. It does not use neutral spirits and is completed through an in-house process from raw ingredients to distillation.
Amquest said it added precise blending techniques to deliver the mandarin's signature refreshing aroma and balanced flavor, earning recognition for differentiated quality.
Amquest is a distillery based in Seogwipo, Jeju, and has built a premium spirits lineup focused on mandarin-based distilled liquors.
An Amquest official said, "We sought to raise the product's completeness by refusing to compromise from raw ingredients through production," adding, "We will continue to introduce premium alcoholic beverages that capture the value of Jeju ingredients."
