Dongwon F&B said on the 20th it will open a "Dongwon Tuna" pop-up store at Harakado in Harajuku, Tokyo.
Planned under the concept "SUPER TUNA FOR YOU in Tokyo," the pop-up store was designed to let visitors experience on-site the "Super Tuna For You" campaign that Dongwon F&B rolled out in January this year.
Visitors can decorate tuna cans themselves, experience various interactive spaces and events, and naturally enjoy the products, and Dongwon F&B said those who purchase products will receive limited-edition gifts.
The pop-up store is set to run from the 18th to the 24th.
Dongwon Tuna by Dongwon F&B began exports to Japan in 1998. Last year, when Jin of BTS was selected as the model, export value rose about 50% from the previous year.
A Dongwon F&B official said, "We planned this pop-up store to effectively deliver Dongwon Tuna, Korea's leading tuna brand, to global consumers," adding, "We will continue to promote Dongwon Tuna, 'delicious protein,' to global consumers through active marketing."
