Bambachi Farm said on the 20th that "Kkachi Wild Pear Liquor 47" won the grand prize in the liqueur category at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
Kkachi Wild Pear Liquor 47 is a liqueur made with organically grown native wild pears cultivated in Hongcheon, Gangwon, using traditional infusion and aging methods. It features the wild pear's distinctive, refreshing acidity and deep fruit aroma.
It delivers a hefty body and a long finish from its high 47% ABV, and Bambachi Farm said it enhanced completeness through more than a decade of research and repeated brewing processes.
The product set a record for the highest fundraising amount ever in the traditional liquor category on Wadiz crowdfunding in Jan. this year.
A Bambachi Farm official said, "The result of steadily making traditional liquor with ingredients grown in the region led to this award," adding, "We will continue to present traditional liquor that captures the charm of our fruits."
