Lotte Chilsung Beverage said on the 17th that it unveiled a new signature sound, created in collaboration with music director Jeong Jae-il, that captures the crisp brand image of its flagship product Chilsung Cider. The sound was released through an ad video on the 15th.
This project with director Jeong, who worked on the music for the film "Parasite" and Netflix original series "Squid Game," was planned as part of building a "sound identity" to capture Chilsung Cider's refreshment in "sound." Lotte Chilsung Beverage said it is a full-fledged attempt to strengthen the brand's unique sensibility.
Regarding this collaboration, director Jeong said, "It was a commercial project, but it was impressive because we were able to produce a musically meaningful result," adding, "It was interesting to maintain the sentiment of a brand that has been loved for a long time while expressing it in a new way."
A Lotte Chilsung Beverage official said, "The Chilsung Cider signature sound completed with director Jeong will be used as a 'sound asset' representing the brand going forward," adding, "Through various campaigns and content, we plan to enable consumers to experience Chilsung Cider's refreshment in a multisensory way."
