Mad for Garlic, a dining restaurant operated by MFG KOREA, said on the 16th that it won the grand prize in the family restaurant institutional sector at the 2026 Korea Representative Brand Awards.
Now in its 21st year, the Korea Representative Brand Awards is a ceremony that selects representative brands by institutional sector based on a consumer survey. iMBC, Donga.com and Hankyung.com co-host the event.
Mad for Garlic expanded its menu lineup and strengthened taste and service by promoting its brand identity as a "K cultured Italian restaurant." In particular, through a strategy of opening key locations in core commercial districts, it secured both customer access and convenience. The company noted that this all-out innovation led to higher brand awareness and consumer preference, resulting in its selection for the grand prize.
Yoon Daye, CEO of MFG KOREA, said, "We will continue to offer dining experiences that all generations can enjoy and raise customer satisfaction through ongoing brand innovation," adding, "We will establish ourselves as 'dining for everyone,' where anyone can enjoy the pleasures of gastronomy in everyday life."
Meanwhile, to commemorate the award, Mad for Garlic is also holding a "Overflow Caution Appreciation Festival." It is offering a 50% discount on one pasta item, including the flagship "Overflow Caution Pasta" series and all pasta menus. Discount coupons can be purchased on KakaoTalk Gift until the 30th.
