Dongsuh Foods said on the 13th that it has launched a new lower-sugar granola product, "Post Granola Low-Sugar Lentil Oat."
Dongsuh Foods said the new product was planned to reflect the trend of growing interest in health management and low-sugar items. Following the two "Post Granola Apricot Almond·Pecan" products released last year, it expanded its lineup of granola with reduced sugar.
"Post Granola Low-Sugar Lentil Oat" minimizes sugar content by using stevia and allulose, which are called natural sweeteners. Oats, whole barley, and lentils, noted as a superfood, are roasted to bring out the original flavor of the ingredients, and various legumes such as black soybeans and white soybeans are added.
A Dongsuh Foods official said, "Post Granola Low-Sugar Lentil Oat is a product that lowers sugar content and uses carefully selected ingredients so that even people sensitive to diet management can enjoy it with peace of mind," adding, "We will continue to introduce a variety of Post Granola products that balance taste and nutrition for consumers' healthy lifestyles."
