Nongshim said on the 10th that it held a blood donation campaign on the 9th at its headquarters in Sindaebang-dong, Dongjak District, Seoul, and at six plants nationwide.
Nongshim plans to deliver blood donation certificates contributed by about 300 employees to pediatric cancer patients in need of transfusions during treatment through the Korea Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer.
This blood donation is part of Nongshim's support activities for pediatric leukemia and cancer patients that have continued for nine years. Since 2018, Nongshim has provided Baeksansu every month for patients with weak immune systems, and the cumulative donation to date is about 1.8 million bottles.
Nongshim also said it is continuing sponsorship programs, including a drawing contest for pediatric leukemia and cancer patients and a charity marathon, in partnership with the Korea Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer.
