Hyungji Elite's sports brand Willbeplay said on the 10th it will open its first official brick-and-mortar store, "Willbeplay Lotte World Mall," at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, Seoul.
The new store will open on the 3rd floor sports zone of Lotte World Mall on the 11th. It will showcase apparel, gear, and accessories including professional uniforms of the Lotte Giants, along with Willbeplay's own fashion apparel and baseball equipment.
Willbeplay aims to use this opening to help sports fans more easily access and enjoy sports merchandise not only at games but also in daily life. In particular, given the characteristics of the Jamsil commercial district, where there is a large floating population of people in their 20s and 30s and sports events are frequently held, the company plans to operate the store as an offline hub for close communication with fans.
An opening promotion is also planned. On the first weekend after opening, the 11th and 12th, the first 200 visitors each day will receive "Jjakjjak-i," a Lotte Giants cheering item. In addition, through June 30, the first 500 customers who purchase at least 200,000 won in Willbeplay products will receive a prize exchange voucher, and a drawing will award Willbeplay x Rudy Project collaboration sunglasses, baseball jerseys, T-shirts, and Lotte Giants player–signed balls. If you take a verification photo on the in-store "glove sofa" and upload it to social media, one person will be selected each week to receive a Willbeplay baseball jersey.
The new store also reflects experience from operating the goods shop at Sajik Baseball Stadium. Last year, Willbeplay integrated operations of the Giants Shop at Sajik Baseball Stadium and unveiled various themed goods spaces such as the Professional Shop, Uniform Shop, Fashion Shop, Cheer Shop, Random Toy Shop, and Marking Station. Among these, the "Marking Station," which engraves a name and number immediately after a uniform purchase, won praise from fans for its convenience in reducing wait times.
A Hyungji Elite Willbeplay official said, "As we are opening our first official store in Jamsil, the center of Korea's sports consumer market, we will continue to strengthen our products and services so that it can establish itself as a representative space where fans visiting the stadium can enjoy sports and fashion together."
