Pulmuone Foods said on the 8th that its product "Premium-grade Korean soybean soy milk" surpassed cumulative sales of 1.2 million units just two months after launch.
Released at the end of Jan., "Premium-grade Korean soybean soy milk" is a premium soy milk made with the highest-grade "premium-grade Korean soybeans." Without filtering out soybean pulp containing dietary fiber, it is ground whole, and the base soy milk accounts for 96.37%. Using only three materials and supplies—soybean juice, oligosaccharides, and solar salt—it highlights the bean's inherent nutty sweetness.
As consumer response was strong right after launch, Pulmuone Foods has substantially expanded its production lines starting this month, increasing output to about five times the previous level. Pulmuone said it was the result of a combination of brand trust and a differentiated taste. In fact, consumers responded, "It's a premium Korean soybean soy milk with a 96.37% base soy milk content, yet the price is reasonable," and "It's low in sugar, but the natural nutty sweetness is good."
A Pulmuone Foods official said, "Premium-grade Korean soybean soy milk is a product Pulmuone designed to achieve a high level of both ingredient quality and taste," adding, "We will also expand sales channels to hypermarkets and convenience stores so more consumers can enjoy Korean soybean soy milk with a high base soy milk content."
