Homeo Wine Gallery said on the 6th that its imported and distributed red wine "Chris Pinot Noir" and white wine "Domaine Vincent Bouzereau Aligoté" won the grand prize at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
Chris Pinot Noir won the grand prize in the old world red wine under 30,000 won category, and Domaine Vincent Bouzereau Aligoté was selected as the grand prize winner in the old world white wine 30,000 won to under 60,000 won category. In particular, Homeo Wine Gallery has won for three consecutive years in the old world white wine 30,000 won to under 60,000 won category.
Marking its 13th year, the Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is Korea's representative alcoholic beverage competition. With the goal of "discovering good domestic liquors, promoting them widely, and supporting the formation of a sound drinking culture," ChosunBiz has held it annually since 2014.
This year's event drew entries of a total of 1,118 brands from 260 companies. It is the largest among domestic competitions that cover comprehensive alcoholic beverages. Of these, 449 brands won the grand prize.
The award-winning Chris Pinot Noir is a red wine made using 100% grapes from hillside vineyards in Sicily in southern Italy. The climate of the high-altitude vineyards preserves the wine's acidity and gives it rich blackberry and cherry fruit aromas.
Domaine Vincent Bouzereau Aligoté is a white wine made from grapes (100% Aligoté) from Meursault in Burgundy, France. Unlike typical Aligoté, it is produced only from grapes grown in the single area of Meursault, which is cited as a differentiator. In particular, Domaine Vincent Bouzereau is a winery that has upheld traditional methods for 10 generations in Meursault, and its flagship wine, "Meursault Blanc," was selected as an Air France first-class wine.
A Homeo Wine Gallery official said, "With this three-year streak of Aligoté awards as a starting point, we will further expand brand awareness," adding, "We plan to continue introducing reliable, high-quality wines to broaden the diversity of Korea's wine culture."
