Wine and liquor importer The VIN CSR said on the 6th that it won top honors in four institutional sector categories at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards, including the highest prize, Best of 2026.
The Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is Korea's leading liquor competition, now in its 13th year. With the goal of "discovering quality domestic alcohol and promoting it widely, and supporting the formation of a sound drinking culture," ChosunBiz has hosted it annually since 2014.
This year's event drew 260 companies submitting a total of 1,118 brands. It is the largest among domestic competitions that cover all categories of alcohol. Of these, 449 brands won grand prizes.
The VIN CSR's Pio Cesare, Rosy won the grand prize in the rosé wine (50,000 won or more and less than 100,000 won) institutional sector, and was also selected for Best of 2026, awarded to the top product in the category.
The product is a premium rosé wine made by the Pio Cesare winery in Piedmont, Italy, based on the Nebbiolo variety. Fresh fruit aromas reminiscent of wild strawberries and raspberries are layered with a delicate rose-petal bouquet, achieving balance with an elegant structure and refined acidity. With a more powerful texture than typical rosé, it is regarded as a wine that pairs well not only as an aperitif but also with dishes such as salmon tartare.
